Cry Baby B-Sides

Over the past few months I've been working on some recordings that were done during the Cry Baby sessions in 2017 that just never made it onto the album. I'm very excited to say that they're going to see the light of day on Sept. 25th being released as a B-Side EP!

What's even more exciting is that you can hear the first single 'Looking for Your Heart' AND get a free download of the EP before anyone else hears it just by signing up at my patron page - patreon.com/joenolan

For as little as $5 a month you can stay connected, hear some juicy behind the scenes stories of being on the road and on top of that get exclusive access to cool things like this EP! Hope you can join the family. It sure has been a fun way for me to keep doing what I love and a creative outlet during these crazy times. So please do check it out.

On another note, last night I played my first 'in person' live outdoor show since March... it brought so much joy to not be singing to a screen for once. Wow, what a feeling, we have all missed it so much! The show was set in Hazeldean and the setting was like a little mini Folk Fest stage which happens to land on this weekend. In some ways it felt like we were on the hill, everyone walked in from all different directions of the neighbourhood and gathered in the grass. I played until the sun went down, no one wanted it to stop. So I just wanted to say thank you to all the lovely people that came out and was part of last nights special evening.

It doesn't stop there. Tonight I have two more outdoor gigs back to back in Cloverdale which is the neighbourhood at the bottom of Folk Festival hill, some more events are starting to flow in and open up in the coming weeks as well. Things are looking up on the musical front. If you or a friend would like to put together a little 'safely distanced' social/musical gathering please do let me know, I am starting to take bookings again!

Wishing everyone a happy, folk festy, rockin weekend. Turn it up, talk soon.
