Solid Gold

Day 6 into quarantine...

None of us knew this was coming, none one of us know whats ahead... except that things are changing. The world most definitely will not be the same place after all of this settles... I mean how could it be? There are many questions we must ask ourselves, and they keep evolving every day.

Amidst all the confusion, the world keeps turning.. awe yes, the world keeps turning. I'd like to share a very thoughtful review of my latest "single" I put forward called Tupelo Honey. No, not the Van Morrison song... however a reference to the 1971 release.

On another note, I'm taking things one day at a time, as I'm sure you are as well. But I'm also thinking ahead, working on coming up with some creative ways of broadening my field of work and keeping the heartbeat of music alive. Soon I will have a patreon page up and running offering exclusive access to unreleased material, B-sides off Cry Baby, songwriting lessons and much more. Please keep an eye out for that.

Today I recorded a song called "Solid Gold" in the little basement suite I'm staying in during this week of isolation. You can find it on my facebook page or instagram. Hoping a little light shines your way through the cracks... Sounds like a Leonard Cohen quote is in there somewhere!

Goodnight, and more news soon.
